The Sea Marshall® 'SOS®' SMB is a high quality unit designed to accommodate a PLB8-LD'SOS' lost diver alerting unit. The advantage of having your diver PLB incorporated into the SMB is three fold,
  • Vastly increased signal range which means any surface craft with a locator unit fitted will be able to pick up your signal from a much greater distance (approx. 500% range increase)
  • The integral flashing electroluminescent 1 metre long antenna light becomes highly visible when held upright above the water,
  • By attaching a Line to the SMB long range alerting and precise location can be given in the event of the diver becoming trapped on the sea bed.
